Okay so. I don't wear makeup. It's just not my thing. I feel really weighed down when I wear makeup and uncomfortable. The most I wear now anymore is mascara—but on very rare occasions—and this thing called Chapstick that doesn't really classify as "makeup" if you ask me.

But recently I got a gift from one of my best friends and in this package she sent, among other things, was Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Balm Stain.

Now, Lacey knows I don't wear lipstick. Or makeup. So she must have sent me this because she really absolutely loved it and wanted me to try it.

Today, I finally left the apartment to go grocery shopping. And I thought, hey I should probably try Lacey's gift out so I can tell her if I like it or not. And by God I really freaking love this lip stain!!!

Lacey gifted me with the color marked 127, called, "A Stiff Pink." We mostly have yellow lighting in our apartment that I absolutely despise and want to switch out, so applying it I was really worried it would look strange on me—as it was coming out very bright pink. But when I switched to natural lighting it wasn't as bright as I was expecting. It looked very natural and really only added to the pink tint that my lips already have.

It really brings out my eyes and looks great with my complexion. I seriously love this color.

There's one thing I specifically like about this lip balm stain. It's advertised as being "moisturizing". My lips are pretty dry. My lips are also slightly scarred. I get cold sores from stress a lot and in fact, the scars on my lips are from a severe breakout of that which I had back in 2005.

So that's why I use Chapstick, to keep my from biting and licking my lips obsessively. This lip balm stain feels very natural on my lips. Kind of...soft, might be a good description? I don't know, but I could definitely feel the moisturizing effects after I put it on. It felt very natural and comfortable. And, since it's stain and will stay on my lips for a good while, I can still apply Chapstick over it as the day wears on and my lips feel like they're drying out again.

Also, it's like a big giant crayon and super simple and easy to put on.

For me, I think this lip stain is pretty much perfect. The fact that it's simple enough to put on (not liquid or marker stain) is a huge must for me since I don't do my makeup often and don't want to take time out to do makeup or put effort into it. I also think it's great because it's a stain. Stain, as the name implies, stains your lips. This means that when I eat, drink, or even lick my lips it's not going to come off right away. That's a huge deal for me because I hate re-applying things, such as lipstick. This lip stain just really fits my lifestyle.

There are apparently five colors aside from the one I have. Also, it appears as though this brand of stain is pretty decently priced and affordable. I would definitely recommend it if you haven't tried Wet n Wild MegaSlick Balm Stain already.

This isn't a review, it's more just me raving about how much I love this gift I was given. I mean, it sort of ended up being a slight review? But not official.

Anyway, Product Evaluation: 5/5, with 5 being perfect/amazing.
